day, we've lined up some of the most talented country music
artists & bands for your pleasure.
From Saturday, July 5th, 2008 until Sunday, July 13th, 2008
we also have fun with various artists in the Pavilion. The
Pavilion is a large open building located to the east of
the main stage, where you can buy official HCF T-shirts
and other souvenirs like sweatshirts, jackets, and all sorts
of things. The pavilion is also where alcoholic beverages
are served.
Thursday, July 10th, 2008 through Sunday, July 13th, 2008 you
can see some of the world's favorite country music artists
on the main stage!
Some of our past
guest artists have included Tim McGraw, Faith
Hill, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Tammy
Wynette, Alan Jackson, and Kenny Rogers just to name a few!
On
Sunday July 13 at 10 am, an interdenominational church service
will be held in the tent.

Thank you to all of the
contestants who participated in the Hodag Country
Festival Karaoke Contest. The winners were as follows:
3rd Place went to Mark Hafenbreadl from Wausau, WI who won 1 Ticket to the 2008 Hodag Country Festival.
2nd Place went to Stephanie Schmidt from Crandon, WI who won 2 Tickets to the 2008 Hodag Country Festival.
And the Winner was Ronny Austin from Minneapolis, MN who won 2 Tickets to the 2008 Hodag Country Festival and $200.00 cash.

2008 Karaoke
Contest:
Saturday, July 5th - Sunday, July 6th - Monday, July 7th - Tuesday, July 8th - Wednesday, July 9th; The first 7 contestants to sign up in the Pavilion at the T-Shirt Stand after 10:00 am each day will qualify for one of ten positions (there will be two qualifiers each day!) for the Thursday July 10th Championship. The entry fee will be $5.00 per person and due at sign up. Contestants need to arrive in Pavilion at 6:00 pm for performance position. Contest starts each day at 6:30 pm. with the exception of Wednesday. On Wednesday Contestants should arrive for performance position at 12:30 pm and the contest will start at 1:00 pm. We have moved the time of the contest on Wednesday to accommodate those who want to be part of the chair line! Each contestant will need to sing two songs of their choice. It is suggested that contestants bring their own karaoke discs to ensure that they have the version they are most comfortable with. Thursday, July 10th - Championship the top 2 contestants from each day will advance to Thursday's competition. At 11:30 am, contestants will be randomly drawn for performance positions. Thursday's competition will start at noon! During Thursday's contest, each contestant will need to sing 3 songs of their choice.
Prizes:
1st place: 2 - 2009 HCF Weekend Tickets and $200.00 cash.
2nd place: 2 - 2009 HCF Weekend Tickets.
3rd place: 1 - 2009 HCF Weekend ticket.
4th - 10th place: $10.00 in drink tickets.
