I see kids camping and have no problem with it...but it's kinda like kids in Vegas...people will be drinking, smoking, loud, not always talking in kid-appropriate language...so as long as you know what to expect and you're OK with that, it's all good. People go to Hodag to let loose and don't really want to worry about watching their language all the time, etc. (This especially applies to overflow, which is kind of known as being the younger party area.)

Other than that, Hodagers are a very easy-going crowd, helpful and friendly. It's certainly not an unsafe place for kids, but just may not be the most approriate enviornment for small kids.
