Some might ask? why do you call your camp "the Island"

Back in the "Day" there was a year called "mud fest"...some might know. It rain the whole week of Hodag. :-) missed that yr.

Went the next yr and had a bad time, and would not give Hodag another chance. Trying to make this story short...lol

Donna Jo (sister) talked me into it. Great time. Then we were there for the "Big One" where Hodag over flow blew away in a storm. we were north of the main road.

Then "The Flood" only camp to be under water all week. Our hidden cases of beer floated down north 4th street.

Next year week did the first come and got the sites now. Then it came res. and had to get in line in Jan to keep them.

so know the main road in O.F. is the river tween north and south O.F. & the main grounds? we call it the "main land. so now you know the rest of the story.
