I think they wanted someone that could bring the crowd to their feet to close out the fest and Neal always does one of the best jobs of that. I mean Reba was a great singer with a lot of good songs in '08 but she doesn't exactly get the crowd going if you know what I mean. Not a very good closer. I think they may have just wanted someone that could do a good job at the closer role. Eric Church would have been a good candidate too with his performance Sunday!
