I would like to thank the Eckerts and the Hodag staff for another great (2002) Hodag Country Festival.
While sitting in the chair line and chating with fellow Hodagers on Wednesday afternoon. There was a lot of talk on how to farther improve the chair line. The best idea I heard that seemed like a great idea to everyone was, let's keep doing the chair line the way it was done these past two years (drawing of colors for groups to enter the maze etc., two chairs per person at the Thursday 1:00pm placement time.)
But!, Why not do all this in one day instead of two days.
Have the start with the drawing of the colors for groups to enter the maze at 10:00am on Thursday, then 3hours later at 1:00pm do the placing of the chairs as its done now.
This would save Festival goers from having to sleep in line overnight and Hodag Security a lot of headaches.
I think its a great idea, Why not try it next year (2003).
