Hello and welcome! It's an exciting time of year! This is my 11th year in a row and it won't stop there let me tell you! Alcohol: There are no limits to what you bring into the campground...It is BYOB when it comes to the concert/show area. The cooler that you bring in MUST fit under your chair. You can not use a cooler as your seat. Fire Pits: They require that you dig a hole for your fire pit then fill it back in when you leave. This helps contain ashes and the possibility of sparks flying around. Camping: They have the main grounds and Overflow. We camp in Overflow and have every year, therefore, I will give you this info because I can't confirm if it is the same as the main grounds. In Overflow, we show up with our 9 day pass and buy a campsite. They have stakes out indicating where a site begins and ends. A campsite is $80 and it does not matter how many people stay on the site. You get 2 tags...1 for the camper/tent and 1 for the vehicle. If you have more than 1 vehicle and want it in the campground, you have to purchase another site...So, that is 1 camper/tent and 1 vehicle per site purchased. There is a separate parking area next to Overflow (Overflow parking) that I believe this years charge is $20 for a weekend pass to park. It sounds like you have a camper...it is completely up to you if you want to come early and set up or set up whenever you are planning on arriving. The only thing is that the later you wait, the further away the sites get from people claiming their sites. We go up every year on Tuesday and we are usually around row 5, 6, or 7. There are closer sites at that time but we enjoy that area and always have. I hope this helps and HAPPY HODAG!!!! See ya in 22 days!
