I would not bring a child under the age of 10 do to the fact that there is no place for a child that young to play besides the music, drinking going on and the loud music and yes some of the people do get carried away with their mouths. I work security there since 1992 and yes I have seen people bring their bikes in just don't see them in pics of the fest. For the showers they do have them and you have to purchase tokens in order to use them. They have some on top of the hill behind EMTS, SECURITY AND POLICE AREA and the other is right next to the security/police,emts buildings. There is some shade it depends on which of the areas that you want to camp in it would be best to ask the main office as to where a good spot is just don't go out to over-flow no shade.
