: First off, what makes you think that the only
: people not happy about the line up are the
: "partiers"? If that's all we were
: going there for, then the line up wouldn't
: be a big deal, would it? Second, yeah,
: you're right, the main reason alot of people
: go to Hodag is to see good acts, have a good
: time and not have to put up with the rules
: at the other festivals. So, because we don't
: have to deal with those added rules, does
: that mean we don't have a right to have an
: opinion about what we're paying to see?
: Considering we've already bought these
: tickets, I think we do. If you are happy
: with the line up this year, you have a right
: to say so, but don't put others down for
: expressing their opinions. I personally have
: a great time at Hodag every year, but I'm
: still hoping for some better acts.
I think "GOD" is saying it's about the music, and the last 25 years of it. It's really a pretty good mix of the country music of today and yesterday. Yes, we've all paid for the tickets in advance to reserve our sites but it's still a small price to pay for what we are getting. And yes, the young partiers have been on the rise for the last few years, maybe this year they will choose to go elsewhere but there's nothing like Hodag. Take what you can get out of it, have fun and don't go and see the acts that don't interest you.
