There is always somewhat of a line through out the week, but not to long and it moves rather quickly, at the main grounds gate #1 entrance. I’m not sure about at the overflow camping entrance but you can bet that the Hodag staff does a great job of keeping traffic flowing as smoothly and quickly a possible. Have you tickets ready and if you already have your vehicle pass place it in bottom driver side of windshield before you get to Rhinelander, it speeds things up for everyone trying to get in.
There are always open camping spots in overflow, you may windup towards the back but you should have no problem getting a spot. There are shuttle busses that will pick you up that can take you to the main grounds.
