Happy Hodag!! We stay in overflow every year. The way it works is you pay at the gate and choose your site...If you want to reserve an electric site, you may need to call the hodag grounds and request an electric site. We don't stay on electric sites but I know when we got there last year on Wed there were still some available. Also, If you do get a site, you will have to pay for your friends site before they show up. That would be the only "secure" way to hold a site. You can try to rope it off but that may not go over too well with the staff. Hope this helps and happy hodag!
