Welcome “First Timers” or better know at the Hodag as “Virgin Hodagers”. All reserved Campsites that were reserved through the Hodag Country Festival office for the 2011 Festival were available to the same parties starting November 1st, 2011 through Friday, January 13th, 2012. All sites that were not reserved by Friday, January 13th, 2012 will be sold on a first come first served basis starting Monday, January 30th, 2012. However I don’t know if you will be lucky enough to get 4 reserved camping sites together on the main grounds. You’re best bet maybe to try to get 4 sites together across the road in the overflow camping area, camping sites are ($60.00) also campsites are bigger in overflow, same a the main grounds there is Water & Showers available in overflow, also there is shuttle bus service that will pick you up at various location and take you to gate #3 of the main grounds. Shuttle buses are available for transportation to and from the overflow starting on Thursday, July 12th, 2012. If you want to try to get reserved campsites I would call the Hodag ticket office on Monday, January 30th, 2012 at 1-800-762-3803 or 715-369-1300 open 8:00AM to 4:30PM CST. Hodag ticket office is closed weekends & holidays, Visa and Mastercard accepted. In addition to the reserved campsites, They have an ample number of unreserved sites available in the overflow area. These sites are sold when the Hodag gates open on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 at 6:00 AM and available for sale through out the week of the festival. Overflow area is huge and never fills up; there is always unreserved area available in overflow and plenty of room to group 4 or more campers together.
