CHAIR LINE

On Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., Hodag Country Festival staff will post several starting points for the chair line. No lines may form before this time. The lines that form at the starting points should be no more than two people wide. At 6:00 p.m., security will determine the end of each line and close it off. A lottery drawing will be held to determine the order in which each line will take the chairs into the seating area. A chair line will be drawn from the east side of the grounds to be led into the seating area for seating on the east side; then a line will be drawn on the west side of the grounds to be led into the seating area for seating on the west side (no crossing over to the opposite side). The drawing will continue until all of the lines have been picked. Each person in line can have two (2) chairs, and each person can carry two (2) chairs into the spectator seating area. The chair line is an option many Hodagers enjoy; it is not mandatory to participate. Chairs can be put out anytime after the lottery drawing is finished. The Hodag Country Festival reserves the right to alter these rules at any time due to circumstances beyond our control.
